Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in React Native and native Android development (Java/Kotlin). You will build and maintain high-performance mobile applications for Android using React Native and also implement native modules and features as needed. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to architecture, performance tuning, and scaling mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-platform mobile apps using React Native (Android first, iOS optional)
  • Implement native Android modules in Java/Kotlin when platform-specific functionality is needed
  • Work with Android SDK, Jetpack components, background services, and local storage
  • Integrate REST APIs, Firebase, push notifications, and third-party SDKs
  • Build custom UI components and animations
  • Optimize performance for both hybrid and native modules
  • Debug and resolve issues in both JavaScript and native Android layers
  • Maintain codebase via Git, participate in code reviews and Agile sprint cycles
  • Manage app deployment to the Play Store (and optionally App Store)

Required Skills

  • Professional experience with React Native and native Android development (Java and/or Kotlin)
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and build tools
  • Experience with React Native navigation, Redux/Context API
  • Familiarity with native bridging in React Native (using Native Modules)
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP)
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
  • Experience with BLE, camera, NFC, or other hardware integrations

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Passion for clean code, performance, and great user experience
